The residence itself is over 6000 square feet, situated on over 40 acres of fields & forest, in
a rural setting, allowing for an abundance of recreational space, both inside & outside of the residence & is equipped
with many recreational facilities & opportunities, including, but not limited to, a large sport court equipped for basketball,
hockey, skateboarding etc. as well as a fenced in, inground swimming pool, with an opportunity to earn Red Cross swimming
& Lifesaving awards, through a qualified instructor.
Staffing consists of the houseparent as well as a full time School Facilitator/Recreational Director
& a Full time Life Skills/Child & Youth Worker.
All staff & the houseparent are trained in First-Aid as well as annual Fire Training & UMAB
(Understanding & Managing Aggressive Behaviour).
Access is available to a Pediatrician as well as individual counseling & Psycho-Educational Assesments,
through community based resources.
